Debunking Sexual Health Myths on RTE Radio1 Ireland

06 October 2022 – Project Lead and Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, Professor Fergal Malone spoke about the ‘Debunking The Myths’ sexual health outreach project for transition year students in Ireland on RTE Radio One’s Ray D’Arcy show. Prof. Malone focuses the project’s objective of debunking sexual health myths, the stigma associated with sexual health and our efforts to dispel ‘fake news’ teenagers today encounter about their sexual health. He talks about the topics covered in the workshops delivered by our experts, which include STIs, contraception, and positive consent.
