We’re consciously uncoupling with X

The Debunking the Myths Team and X (formerly known as Twitter), are not working together anymore but instead we are moving forward with love and kindness separately in an act of conscious uncoupling*. More on our part than theirs – I don’t think Elon even knows we exist.  

 

Debunking The Myths values the role of social media in engaging with our community. However, we are mindful of the ongoing changes to X and understand the concerns these changes have raised.  

 

While we have chosen to keep our account open on X for now. – Everyone lurks on their X sometimes hey? – We will not be posting on the platform anymore. We know its relevance for some sections of our audience, and we are keeping up with our feed on the platform.  We are also reviewing the evolving role of X within the social media landscape. Our priority remains ensuring that our communications channels remain accessible, positive, and relevant to all members of our community.  

We appreciate however that you may no longer feel comfortable engaging on X and so we encourage you to follow RCSI on the variety of other platforms where we have a presence:

• BlueSky: @debunkingmyths This is our newest platform, similar to X/Twitter in look and feel and especially popular with our research community
